Bela Maci was born in Tirana, Albania. After graduating in Fashion & Accessories at Mod’ Art International, Belinda came back to her hometown where she graduated in Scenography and Costumes from the University of Arts.
Growing up as the niece of one of Albania’s most famous painters of Socialist Realism, art was always a massive part of her life. Throughout her childhood ,her grandfather was her mentor and her biggest inspiration.
Bela spent most of her time at his studio. This is when her love for the arts started growing. She found herself attracted to the traditional costumes of her grandfather paintings’ characters. Being inspired by that she began drowning doll outfits at the age of 5.
Bela Belinda creations are inspired by the world of childhood ,fantasy, nature.
Her creations combine traditional influences and her love for the transformation of ordinary materials into pieces of exceptional art.
